Signs & Skymates, my debut book, is more than just a guide that helps you figure out if you’re compatible with a certain zodiac sign. It’s an opportunity to deep dive into your compatibility with yourself, with life, and then ultimately, with others.

This book is an invitation to heal from the wounding of past and false conditioning, while opening yourself up to new perspectives of knowing and deeply loving yourself, life, and ultimately others. Through a full-chart approach to navigating your own chart, you’ll develop the tools and empathy to hold space for other people’s multidimensional layers and experiences. And when we all become more connected to each other through empathy, we heal, and the world does too.

As a West African astrologer, in this book I explore indigenous African insights on astrology, by connecting the modern planets to the ancient Yorùbá orishas, West African deities who Roman and Greek astrologers drew their inspiration from – or rather copied and tried to erase. Signs & Skymates calls out and reverses that attempted erasure by bringing the magic, roots, and wisdom of the orishas to light. 

I get quite personal in this book, and I explore the complexities of relationships and astro synastry, by giving you an inside look at my own relationships – ranging from romance, friendship, and family dynamics, to frenemy and coworker partnerships.
